With our bespoke door design service, we take your idea and handcraft a one-off door. This includes multiple consultations, technical drawings, research into different period designs where necessary, on-site visits, a custom-made doorframe, fully bespoke stain glass designs and another visit to your property to fit the door. As you can imagine, this all comes at a price.
That’s why we decided to launch our new “Design Your Own Door” service. We’ve made it simpler and more streamlined, which means we can offer our services at a lower price point.
Instead of designing your door from scratch, you choose from a number of popular options already listed in our tool. This means we don’t need for a visit your property for consultations. We don’t need to complete technical drawings for your approval. We don’t need to build a custom doorframe or come and fit the door at your property.
The lower price has NOTHING do with quality.
Our new doors have the same unmistakable quality and finish as our more expensive doors.
- The new doors are still built to order by our talented craftsmen in our Nottingham-based workshop.
- We use the exact same high quality timer.
- We still use premium locks for added security.
- We fit the same beautiful quality door furniture.
- They’re still made to the exact size you require.

So, how does it work?
Simply use the tool on this page and choose from the pre-selected options.
Here’s what you choose:
- The style of door (Georgian, Edwardian, 1930s, etc)
- The type of wood your door is made from
- The type of glazing (coloured, frosted, plain)
- The paint colour
- Whether you want a second paint colour for the inside face of the door
- The type of accessories you want on your door
- The type of locks you want on your door
- The finish of the door accessories
As you select the different options in the tool, a preview will appear on the page.
As you work through the design tool, the price will total up at the bottom. You can see exactly how much your new door will cost – there are no hidden fees!

What happens next?
Once you’ve put down a deposit, we’ll start manufacturing your door! Then, we’ll be in touch to arrange a suitable time for collection or delivery.
