Welcome visitors with this grand door, influenced by Greek Revival style
Greek Revival is an architectural style based on 5th-century BC Greek temples, which spread throughout Europe and the United States during the 1800s. This impressive door is certainly in character with the style.
We created this grand entrance for a client that had difficulty in finding a joinery company that could execute their dream. We were happy to craft this door and meet their expectations.

Greek Revival Style Door
We crafted this Greek Revival style door from English oak, and finished it with sprayed lacquer. We recycled the reeded and bevelled glazing from another part of the client’s property, encapsulating it within triple glazed units.
To compliment the door, we selected solid brass door furniture in an antique nickel finish. View below:

Inspired by Greece, made in England:
All of our wooden entrance doors are made by skilled British craftsmen in our Nottingham-based workshop. Although our doors are manufactured in the Midlands, we’re happy to deliver throughout the UK.
For the door photographed on this page, we were lucky enough to work with a piece of beautiful glass repurposed from another part of the property. We can restore existing glazing that you own, or source something to accentuate the design of your door. We work with a talented local glazier that is renowned for using traditional techniques and materials in their work. Find some of our most recent stained glass designs on this page for your reference.
We recommend Accoya wood for our traditional front doors because it is a high performance timber that is proven to be durable and long-lasting, according to extensive worldwide testing. It’s virtually rot proof and is designed to last over five decades.
We know that security is of paramount concern to any homeowner. Our doors come fitted with Avocet ABS snap proof cylinder locks, which “Sold Secure” have awarded the “Diamond Standard.” Avocet are known for selling the most secure locks in the industry.
